The Word Is Out on Couponing

Ever seen that movie Good Morning Viet Nam?   That is the way I feel today.  I want to say hello to all of you around the globe.  I'm very excited about all the new little tricks I have been using.  Oh, I mentioned them before, but I wonder if you are paying attention.

First of all there is no big money to be saved here in one shot. It's a slow process a few dollars at a time and it will pay off.  It has for me and it will for you too. I came across a web blog about Disneyland.  Everything this woman makes on her webpage goes into a fund to take her family to the happiest place on earth.

To tell you the truth, there is only so much of Disneyland I can take; about your tenth time you want to stick your finger down your throat. But if you have kids, I totally get you, its a must go scene. The little trick I'm mentioning is the www.checkout51.com

I went to Walgreens and saw a special on some Neutrogena skin oil it was reduced to $2.25 when I arrived home, I uploaded the receipt to their site and received a credit of $2.00.  I tell you https://www.facebook.com/Neutrogena  did not make a dime this day a matter of fact, with guys like me they will go broke in no time.

Every time I mention a product I include their website so maybe you can explore it a little more.  A lot of manufacturers have two sites one their official website and nowadays every company has their site on Facebook; that is where they post a lot of coupons.  But they are tricky, they ask you to press the like button. This is their way of getting the word out. I posted a comment the other day on http://www.odwalla.com/

Facebook page and I said that I found a $1 off coupon at Walgreens in their little pamphlet. I said, get it, they are very rare.   Boy they took it real personal, I got response real fast. They said that they often post coupons here on their Facebook page. So you see it's worth taking a look.  I stopped off at Target and picked up some carrots and some Oscar Meyer lunch meat  http://www.kraftbrands.com/oscarmayer/  and did the same uploaded the recipe.

I'm up to $20 dollars and I'm about to get my check for what? For practically doing nothing. I tried to pull a fast one and looked for a coupon, but they are very clever these companies I found out after about ten minutes of looking that they had pulled every coupon from every site so if you want to get a discount for their lunch meat www.checkout51.com was the only way to get  a discount.

While I was at Target I picked up some Keebler crackers I had a 75 cent coupon for them. It's funny how I came across that coupon.  I looked around my kitchen and found about four boxes of cereal by Kelloogs  http://www.kelloggs.com/en_US/home.html

I opened them and found a code inside each box I entered them on their site. And received a total of 700 points I cashed them in for a few coupons and a chance at a vacation. These are the little games that these companies pull.  It's ok, I like these crackers make sure you buy reduced fat ones. You want to stay healthy and have a low cholesterol don't you.

Whenever the opportunity presents itself, I always buy the healthy alternative such as light mayonnaise or low fat yogurt. That's just me, you can add bacon to everything if you like. Even your ice cream. When I was in Target I also took advantage of all the dog coupons I had.

They don't let you print them very often, but I got lucky and acquired about six of them before getting cut off. Iams, Rachel Ray and Benifull. I don't touch Alpo my dogs snubbed it, they rather starve than eat that. The Benifull I swear looks like some of the stew I make.

When my friends come over I show them the food and tell them that is what is for dinner. They don't find it very funny, but I do.  I also picked up some coke soft drink boxes. I'm probably the only one on earth who still calls it Coca Cola. That is because I was born in South America and that is what we called it there. I left when I was seven, but I can't break the habit of calling it by their original name.

You do know about coke rewards don't you?  I mentioned it before. Under the bottle cap silly, find the code.  I'm cashing in my points for a big bottle of the stuff for freeeee.

Got Some Good Sites For You Today

Ola me amigos,  I have some good sites for you today  I have been doing my homework diligently.  If you have been reading any of my posts, then you have hopefully visited some of the sites I have recommended. You know about reward programs, and special codes for discount.

I just signed up for a program with Petsmart its called PetPerks check it out  http://www.petsmart.com/. This week I tried a Hormel meal. It was my first time. I used a Target coupon. You know there is a lot of coupons on their site and I used a manufactures coupon at the same time.  I love doing that.

It was not too bad it beats frozen food any time, it was a bit pricey about $8 dollars, but hey, if you are a bachelor and can't boil water then this is the route for you, it will keep you alive.  http://hormel.com/  I also been buying a lot of different juices I'm leaning towards this one called Old Orchard. It is made from concentrate if that bothers you then buy a brand called simply.http://www.simplyorangejuice.com/

About Old Orchard join their site there are coupons there and prizes. http://oldorchard.com/promotions/ everything I mention is always with a coupon you know this by now.  When I go into a store, they see me coming. Some people are more organized than me, I put something in the cart and throw my coupon in there.  At the end, I just collect them all.

I suppose the proper way is to put them in a tidy envelope and hand it to the cashier but homey don't play like that.  I also drink tons of V8 juice I love that and there is absolutely no problem getting a coupon for this product its everywhere http://www.v8juice.com/ ok that wraps it up for now. I want to let you know in the coming days I will invite a special guest to post on my blog she is a top expert in her field and will give all of us some valuable lessons in this fine art of couponing.

Hello And Welcome

I have no idea what I'm going to write about today. Because it's always off the cuff. I was wondering if any of you are aware of reward points a lot of companies add rewards to your reward cards such as www.cellfire.com

I believe they are called loyalty cards like always I don't know much about them since my grocer discontinued their reward cards Albertsons. I find myself saying that a lot I don't know this and I don't know that. That's is because I have not been doing this for that long of a time.

But I'm catching up quick and before you know it, I will be the expert that you all need. In the mean time feel free to explore this site I know there is value there. One thing that I worry about is that I become repetitious. I'm going to have to make a point of not doing that.

I bought a lot of coffee lately a good brand is of course, Starbucks in the past, they never let you have a coupon, but now they do. They always depended on their rewards programs, buy so many cups and get rewarded as you rack up points.

The coupon I'm referring to is a two dollar off coupon but here is the trick the prices vary from store to store I have seen it as high as 12.00 dollars and as low as 6.99 I should of stocked up when it was that price. And it's for a 12 Oz bag. I saw it at Wallgreens and once at Target.

The high price was at CVS where you are always guaranteed to be ripped off. Pay attention to the bag it has a small peel off on it for a free cup of coffee at your favorite http://www.starbucks.com/ stand. Here is a little humor for you, the other day Starbucks decided to run a promotion on www.groupon.com  they advertised for $5 dollars, you get a $10 dollar print out.

I have done it with http://www.coffeebean.com/ and it worked just fine. This time when people got wind of the Strabucks promotion so many people logged in that it crashed the server, over 100000 in a few minutes. About ten minutes later the site came back up and said promotion sold out.

I found coupons for http://www.greenmountaincoffee.com/ and Gevalia at https://www.gevalia.com/  I'm giving you their sites just for the hell of it, I don't think you can find any coupons, there or maybe you can; but they are interesting to look at.

Another coffee is Tully's. http://www.tullys.com/ that was tasty. And of course Paul Newmans coffee is on the market. Is there anything that they are not into? From salad dressing to pizza and now coffee their site is http://www.couponaholic.net/tag/newmans-own-coffee-printable-coupon/   There is a heck of a lot of coffee coupons on this site. So enjoy a cup of Joe with me. Blogger TemplatesMy Blogger TricksAll Blogger Tricks Blogger Widgets Blogspot Tutorial free hit counter Blogger Templates

Different Kind Of Coupon Site

By now you probably noticed that the sites I give you have a variety of products. Sometimes it can be a it frustrating, it seems like all the sites have the same things. That is why I implore you to go to each manufactures personal site. They often have two, the site they constructed and their own personal Facebook page. I will give you some examples today.

Often a company has their coupons on their Facebook page. For some reason they always want you to hit their like button this way they can get the word out quicker. Sometimes they make you enter contests these are all ploys for them to make money and expand their customer base. I'm pretty tired of them and their Surveys.

I really don't think you can make any money from them only give out your personal info.

 They love that.

Have you ever received those packets with the coupons inside? Don't be so quick to throw them away, often there are some good ones. I recently used one at Ihop and received twenty dollars off on the bill and it was not even the right address Ihop. Goes to show you no one reads the fine print. These mailer cost companies a pretty penny. About $5000 dollars for every 100000 of them.

So give them some respect they are trying hard to lure you in. I'm tempted to go to a sushi place for 20% of similar to Benihana. I will be there soon. And tires there are always promoting tire sales. So it's not always just grocery coupons that I see there are a whole array of them.

Often you can go to a place of business and by registering with them, they will send you a coupon. I will give you an example. I use to get my hair cut at a certain establishment I went there for over six years and often said to them, why don't I ever receive a coupon from you guys.

They answer with a smirk and a laugh oh you just have to be patient.  One day my wife went in and had a blowout. You ladies know what that is. Anyway, about a week later what do I get in the mail a coupon not for me but for her. Unbelievable. I'm now shaving my head just to spite them.

Organics

Health talk is a very sensitive subject. Try helping someone to get on the right course and you will be slapped down.

I myself have gone through some health kicks and read a great deal on the subject. Organic food is a movement that started a long time ago. It caught on heavy in the early sixties and has been going strong ever since.

When we talk about organics we should include the whole scope of a good healthy balanced diet. There is tofu, noodles of all kinds these are products that I hope to eventually shine a light on. Organic vegetables and organic fruits are the rage.

They are grown in a different manner, skipping so many of the food growing techniques of today. Less chemicals are the key I'm not an expert, but from a consumer point of view I endorse it completely.

I just read that apples are injected with a chemical that preserved the fruit for over a year not to mention the wax coating on them. This might give you a reason to shop organic. I might not an expert, but I can point you in the right direction.

Whole foods are letting the coupon sites, print many a deal.
